Community Health Systems

ScionHealth’s national, community hospital footprint encompasses 17 acute care campuses with a total of more than 2,100 beds. Our hospitals, spanning 12 states, are typically located in smaller towns stretching from South Carolina to western Idaho.

Types of Care

These community health systems provide personal, compassionate care in the expected and unexpected moments of life, and most have done so for decades. Several feature medical offices and freestanding clinics and offer a number of specialty services. Our patients are often our team members’ friends, family or neighbors, and our community health systems are committed to their health ‒ from birth through maturity, from orthopedic care to emergencies. Services provided by our community health systems include cancer care, heart care, orthopedic care, primary care, surgical services, women’s health and more.

Our Facilities

Our campuses offer comprehensive, high-quality care close to home – where our patients want it most – and have been the trusted health partner to our patients for generations. Our health systems are an integral part of their communities as essential healthcare providers, employers, taxpayers, and philanthropic leaders.

Each of our facilities is committed to improving life and health for the families and communities we serve. Several have earned multiple specialty accreditations as well as honors for patient safety and experience and quality of care from the likes of Becker’s Hospital Review, Chartis, Healthgrades, the Leapfrog Group, Newsweek, and U.S. News & World Report. We are driven to help others be well and live well. That’s why we’re here.
