Monarch 2024 Community Hospital Award Recipient

Christine Kelsey, MedSurg Nurse, Watertown Regional Medical Center

Christine “Chris” Kelsey, RN, wears multiple hats at Watertown Regional Medical Center, caring for patients as a medsurg nurse, leading her team as a house supervisor, and mentoring new nurses as a preceptor. No matter the role, Chris always brings a skill and passion for her work that lifts others and makes her hospital a better place to receive care and a better place to work.

On October 3, 2024, ScionHealth recognized Chris as a 2024 Monarch Caring and Community Award recipient for her role in caring for patients, being an example for other nurses, and bridging departments to improve hospital culture and the patient experience. The award is our company’s highest honor, designed to showcase the truly exceptional caregivers amongst our 92 community hospitals and specialty hospitals across the country.
